2026 Legislative Session: Week #3
This week, the General Assembly had the honor of hosting the Venerable Monks of the Dhammacetiya on the 100th day of their Walk for Peace. There was significant legislative progress made on the proposed redistricting constitutional amendment as well as a number of my bills.

October 2025: Monthly Newsletter
Happy Halloween ... Time continues to fly by! In the spirit of Halloween season, our office wants to highlight the biggest “treat” of them all: Voting! The last opportunity for early voting is tomorrow, November 1st, and the official Election Day will be held November 4, 2025. While the deadline to register may have passed, please know that “Same Day Registration” (SDR) allows you to register in-person at the precinct and then immediately cast your ballot after!

As July comes to a close, I wanted to share some highlights and legislative updates that have occurred across our different levels of governments, including local events, state legislation that went into effect this month, and an impact analysis of the "Big Bad Bill" enacted at the federal level.
